Based on 184 reviewsReubens Cafe and Coffee in Holyhead consistently receives praise for its welcoming atmosphere, friendly staff, and quality food and beverages. Customers appreciate the café's well-crafted hot drinks, particularly the smooth and flavorful lattes, as well as a diverse menu that includes vegetarian options and generously sized portions. The bakery items and cooked breakfasts are frequently highlighted for their taste and freshness. The ambiance is described as cozy and relaxing, enhanced by soft background music, making it an ideal spot for a casual outing. While some find certain drinks on the sweeter side, overall feedback emphasizes the café’s cleanliness, dog-friendly policy, and value for money despite slightly higher prices, encouraging repeat visits.
Cute coffee shop to rest in. Staff were very sweet and welcoming. We had Caramel lattes (hot) carrot cake and an egg and bacon bap. The lattes were hot and deliscous; not too sweet and very smooth. I'm not sure if the flavor was due to the local beans or local milk but it was 5/5 delicious. The carrot cake was also good, not too sweet and big enough for 2. The bap was also good with the bread being very soft. Would recommend for a quick bite or a drink to sip while walking the town.
cute cafe. The food are really good, nice place to have a chill afternoon. Love the special baguette! The pink drink I would say it’s too sweet to me. The atmosphere is perfect as well. Soft background music around.
Absolutely beautiful food and lovely service! We had cooked breakfasts, a bagel and a cake and all were brill. Can't wait to visit again! Dog-friendly too.
Good choice on the menu. Good for vegetarians also. A little on the pricier side but quality ingredients and surroundings make it worth the money.Glad we found this place, we'll be back for sure.
Lovely cafe that we only discovered today, just off the main shopping street in Holyhead.Fantastic coffee, lovely selection of cakes and pastries.Extremely clean & lovely staff.Definitely recommend & we will be back.Plus it's dog friendly which was fabulous for us, thanks for making the effort
One of the best breakfasts I've ever had. And I've had plenty. Had the pleasure of enjoying thick cut bacon, proper sausage and fresh eggs with my son this morning. Can't wait to call in again and thank you for your excellent service with a smile.
An absolute 10/10!!!I'm a real coffee snob and the coffee at Reuben's is excellent!! It's made with love, passion and expertise. It's a must!!!!The customer service is delightful. The ambience is calm and extremely welcoming. We drove 30 minutes to have a coffee here, we were sooooo glad we did.I live in Sydney, Australia where coffee is EVERYTHING...Reuben's Cafe has it ALL.We're calling in at Reuben's in Bangor on our way home.Do it!!!
We had breakfast at Reubens Cafe on the recommendation of our hostess in Holyhead yesterday. We immediately noticed the lovely decorations in the café and the nice waitress gave us a very friendly welcome.I had the traditional English breakfast and loved it, especially the savory sausage and the crispy, buttery toast. The food was also surprisingly good value for 9.95 with its high quality and tastiness. On a side note, Reubens Café had by far the fanciest restroom I've ever seen in a cafe or restaurant. Not only was it exceptionally clean for a public restroom, it was also very nicely decorated. For me, Reubens is the number one breakfast place in Holyhead!
